Right, My Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has just completely died on me no life the screen is completely black and won't charge, I've bought and new battery thinking its the charger or something but no luck. I know it still has warranty till March 2017, but I got it as a gift and I don't have the receipt would I still be able to get it repaired with warranty?

My galaxy s3 died a few years ago, phone was 18 months old and after inquiring I was told to hand it it to nominated repair shop and it was repaired within 10 days, no I'd needed or receipt as the guaranty was for 2 years and the date of guaranty was from when the phone was first used, imei was cheched I presume, great service from Samsung I thought, no bull about receipt,

I hope it'll be the same to me can't afford to spend 300+ euro on a new phone.
