Help choosing an Inset Stove

    Hi,

I wish to install a non-boiler insert stove in the sitting room. We won't be using it very often. The size of the room is 4m*4.5m*2m and the house is only 10 years old.

I removed the old fireback as it was damaged. The dimensions of the cavity are 50cm(width)*35cm(depth)*82cm(height). See attached picture.

When looking for a stove, what should I be looking for in terms of spec?

    Thanks,

    Barry

    Don't oversize no matter what.

I have a simple cheap 4kw Dimplex insert stove and so do friends in two other houses for 5 years now.
    Were very happy

Ton's of heat from a small fire.

Carbon monoxide alarm is required with all stoves.
    Their life savers.
You hear about the people who didn't think so.

    Tom.
