I am planning a slightly mad DIY project to work with my kids in the next few weeks. It is a combination of a few maker projects I found online that involves building a pool and a solar water heater mostly using recycled materials.

We were thinking of creating some sort of a blog of the project so we can share it with others who might have a similar interest and also to check if our plans make any sense. We will also be building a prototype very soon to test the feasibility and limitations of the concept.

Would a thread like this be in line with the rules and is the DIY forum the right place do do it? Are people around here interested in this kind of project?

    Thanks.
