Hi, Just wondering if anybody had an inkling as to how the films get picked for inflight entertainment? Is there a company that handles it or would they have a film programmer?
    Thanks

I assume its a package deal. They offer several levels of programming and the customer airline picks one based on their IFE capability and preferred spend per head/flight.

Can it just be pointed out that this statement is very wrong and that everything media related from the movies, to music programs to the in flight safety PA's for all aircraft are handled by InFlight Dublin.

Grand Panasonic don't send it to EI,thought they did but everything is uploaded or updated to the IFE system on board by EI engineers using a PDL and USB for the weekly Euro news.
