A promise unfulfilled

So I was looking at ford mondeos, test drove a few around Dublin. 1 I drove I felt was dropping power so walked away, found another, drove it-was very good. But the2 back tyres were bald, the exhaust was showing rust and the car needed a service.
So my salesman from park west autos promised that all will be looked after, so on that I agreed to buy.
Bought the car and my mechanic said get the exhaust done and the tyres and it hasn't been serviced!
Now its been a week and I've been up 2 times(i live in south Wicklow), both times I was told the exhaust is perfect and the tyres were grand. And they also said I didn't ask for the car to be serviced!
So on that note I told them I wanted to take back my trade in car and return the mondeo, to which I was told my car was sold(I was leaning against it at that moment) and to go to consumer rights and to leave the yard. That was this Monday just gone!
So I got a service and 2 winter tyres out of them, seriously!.but the exhaust is still by them considered "perfect". So this is a warning about park west autos!. Would I buy there again...no.

Sure is colm, now I try and scrutinise as much as I can, but their word doesn't go for much once they have your money

That's the lesson, don't hand over the full price for anything till it's all done right.

Ah well, onwards and upwards, it was probably cheap anyway.
