Redeployment and concessionaire hours

    Hi all,
So I'm moving into my 5th year of teaching and it looks like a redeployment is moving in on my job again. Principal says he is still fighting my case n my 2nd year interview is 'on hold' and not cancelled.
Predicting the worst I went off n applied for countless jobs n thankfully have secured a job for next year. The hours arose due to a teacher being voluntarily redeployed but the hours were granted as 'concessionary'.
My questions are: what is the likely hood of these hours being needed for the following year? And would I still be granted a CID under concessionary hours (even if they remained concessionary in the 2nd year)?
    Thank you

Nobody can predict that. Concessionary hours might be granted because a subject needs to be taught and nobody that is currently on staff is qualified, despite a school being over their allocation.

So maybe your subject is one of those, and no one else has your combination. Maybe the hours will be granted again the following year. Maybe the school just needs you for the year and has no plans on keeping on the subject after you finish out the LC class. Maybe there will be a retirement on staff next year and you could get hours from allocation rather than concessionary hours.

Realistically with no information no one will be able to give you an answer.
