    Hi all

I have some stocks held via the european broker degiro, that I bought when in Ireland. I now live in Australia. Are there any other Irish abroad looking to continuously invest in ETFs? I am wondering if you guys are converting your money back to euro and buying stocks in euro, or buying stocks abroad in your current place of residence in your own currency?

It's up to you really. If you keep the Euro account you're obviously going to have the FX risk along with the market risk. I'm in the same boat as you and I moved all my funds to Aus and use Nabtrade for international and CMC for ASX. At least that way it's all in $AUD and they do your tax reports for you which is usually the biggest pain.
