Can sum this up in two words.... soft porn! One of those shows that I ended up downloading by accident without knowing much about. A few episodes built up and I figured I'd catch the first episode last night. It's Showtime's answer to 50 Shades of Grey by the looks of it. Pretty much riding and solo runs every other scene. The story looks flimsy enough and, certainly going on the pilot, there isn't enough time left after the other activities for plot development but I may need to watch more just to verify this . Really though, apart from cashing in on the 50 Shades hysteria, I'm not really sure why this got made.

It was made for teenage boys to watch late on a Friday night in the 1980's.


Someone should have told it was the 21st century and every teenage boy can get hardcore porn on there phone these days there is no need for softcore tv porn that looks like it was made by really bad film school students.

I haven't seen any of it I just saw a similar review to the above neither even make me want to look at it even out of curiosity.

Caught the second episode of this last night. Admittedly I was pretty tired and I only threw it on to fill a bit of time but, if anything, it was worse than the first episode. If you don't have good actors or scriptwriters then don't fill up your show with dialog and interpersonal scenes. This time the dialog and action was about 50/50 and it was cringeworthy. I don't think I'll stick with this show for too long.

What really surprised me is that my prompt to grab the show in the first place was that it was on Showtime. When I see Showtime I think Billions and Ray Donovan so, while I read a brief description of this show, I expected sex/bdsm but also a plot. Much like Billions/Ray I was expecting a show where the sex was there to add to the plot. It seems so out of kilter to see a show where the plot just serves as a segway into sex.

Looks like Showtime is a pretty hit and miss channel!

Showtime has a lot of softcore movies on it's channel in the States it's the go to channel for softcore adult entertainment that's not a porn channel.
