Strimmer cord continuously breaking

I recently bought an Alpine strimmer and the cord continuously breaks.
It's a self feeding strimmer yet the cord breaks every couple of minutes and I have to open it and refeed the cord.
I am using the cord that came with the strimmers so I'm thinking it's poor quality.
Anyone recommend a good quality heavy duty cord?
    Maybe I'm doing something incorrect?
    Thanks

Try soaking the line in water before use, nylon absorbs a certain amount of water and becomes less brittle.
Some trimmer line is sold in little packs with a thin sponge to enable it to stay damp.
What diameter line are you using? If your strimmer can run it Oregon flexiblade is good stuff, if expensive.

    Thanks.
How would I find out if I can use the Oregon flexible?

Couldn't tell you what cord I'm using as it's the stuff that came with the strimmer. Poor quality cord I reckon.

I was doing along a wall today and lengths of cord kept falling off. I'm aware hitting off the wall may cause it to wear more but I was struggling to get 2 yards out of it!

Measure the diameter of the line and you should be able to work out what diameter is the right one for your head, most can take a few different sizes of material.
Try the soaking first then see how it holds up, its frustrating I know to have line break like that but you won't believe what a difference a little water makes.

Also check the grommets the strimmer line comes through on the head. They should have nice round edges, sometimes they are a bit too square or damaged so they contribute to the line breaking.
