Amazon question

    I purchased a console bundled with a game included from Amazon Warehouse. The console arrived and it is perfect, but the game didn't. I contacted Amazon chat about missing game, and I assumed they'd just send out the game. However, the Amazon representative on chat said cos it was a warehouse item he'd refund me for the missing item. I said that would be fine and he said give him a few minutes to process it.

    He returned and said the item had been refunded, but the refunded amount he said was the FULL AMOUNT I paid for console and game, he said it will take 5/7 days for it to clear to my bank account

    So did I in effect get a free console?! or do I have to return console? (no mention of return was made in the chat session)

    Very confused, has anyone experienced anything similar? just seems dodgy!

    Yes, I pre-ordered a game a few years back and was assured to get it on launch day..... its never came, so I contacted them about it and they told me they were very sorry and would have a courier bring me one another 1 in less than 48 hours. 2 days later I got the game from the courier , then 2 days later I got the original order. I said nothing and kept both. I then traded in the game in in Gamestop for store credit. Happy Days !

    Maybe say nothing for a while and see what happens !

    That's mad, you'd think a company as big as Amazon would be a bit stricter like! be crazy if I get to keep the console and receive a full refund.

    Will just wait and see I suppose.
