    Hi,
Has anyone walked from Black valley to the Old weir bridge via Doogary & Glaishin na Marbh? Are there any tracks? Is the going tough? Is it nice? :)
Were planning a two day trip from Muckross to Galway's Bridge to Black Valley. Day 2 back to Muckross.

    Cheers

    Frank

Haven't done that, but have hiked around Glena and ascended Eagles Nest starting at Dinis/Meeting of the Waters. I suspect it gets very boggy there by the lake in wet weather, lovely around there, but quiet and no tracks...in fact very much off the beaten track because it's just not the most accessible spot.
