Hi, just a small bit confused about how this system works. If i sit and hopefully pass the Fe-1 exams next March, do i start the PPC straight away after, or do i have to wait until September? What else do I need to do to start the PPC1 other than obviously passing exams and getting an internship with a solicitor?

You have to have a training contract secured with a firm and all FE-1s passed before you can start PPC1. Its basically at your office's discretion what year you start. PPC1 is September to April each year.

I don't really know where to post this but from what I have read you suppose to pass an Irish exam before doing your FE-1s. I have come to Ireland when I was about 13 years old and have never learned Irish. I have an official exemption from the National Univeristy of Ireland. Will I be required to pass this exam in Irish regardless of the exemption ? I will also have a law degree from an Irish university next year.
