Are you prone to exaggeration :D

It is an item posted on an another "Bargain awareness" site, and might be a bargain (ish) phone for to replace my wrecked one - but only if it works here (so you would be right in that its probably not a bargain if for "decorative use only")

Asking here its possible some one will (a) be able to tell me if it fully functions here (b) give an opinion on whether the price was reasonable (c) be able to advise to avoid/use bang-good based on previous experience.

I had not considered (d) some one might make the contribution of the year to a post - congratulations to you

You haven't even listed a price - how do we know if it's a bargain or not?

As for 4G bands, why don't you figure that out yourself, it's not hard. Look up what bands your provider supports, then look up phone specs to see what 4G bands it supports and see if there's any overlap.

You gave no links or prices... If you just wanted to know if the phone works, head over to the android forum.

    Hi

I'm back from holidays - 3k e-mail in inbox - lets do something else than hitting delete.

    Mi4 vs Samsung S5:

    http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=6518&idPhone2=6033

    It shows LTE band 38(2600), 39(1900), 40(2300) - for Mi4 model.

    And here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_LTE_networks_in_Europe

We can see that Ireland have 1800 and 800 Mhz range.

So It might not work with LTE here.

But of course I'm open to correction here.

    Tom

Can we post links to bangood site ?
    If we can
    EU Warehouse - http://goo.gl/fcIp9P - 180 euros.
    CN Warehouse - http://goo.gl/dg57S5 - 115 euros.

If you want to check above links just ad .info at the end and it will give you full path.

because I said "I have no clue about the different 4G/LTE stuff". Simples.

I did think about posting on android forum but I also had a bargain query - I thought double-posting was frown on

The price was in the title but I lost it when posting
