Just got an email for the above role asking me to come for an assessment on the 14th of July. I also have to take a typing test and send them the screenshot. It's for a 30 hour contract role. Has anybody been through this assessment with them? Does anybody have experience working in their customer support section or know of anybody. Just wondering are they good to work for etc. Any details would be great there's a few threads on boards about PP but not much info. I'm returning to work after 14 years so I'm a bit like a fish out of water but have a lot of experience customer service wise on my cv. Thanks. Edited to say the job begins on 25th July with 4 weeks training.

No idea working directly with them but being a gambling outfit I would try to research possible responses you would give to very difficult customer calls where someone has perhaps lost a major bet, made a bet in error, spent more than they can afford etc.

Glassdoor can be good sometimes in getting a general idea of a place...

I also applied to this role but only on the 28th of June.

Do you know if they're still hiring?

Yeah I know somebody who worked in PP customer support.

If you have an ability to deal with stress and abusive customers on the phone then you will be fine, just make sure you are thick skinned enough for it.
