just wondering how much an acre is good quality silage making an acre,in tipperary and other areas it got 3 bags of manure to the acre just a cut of silage nothing else,thanks

Similar amount of fertilizer on about 5.5 acres and agreed €500 with a neighbour. Did me a turn last year so was happy to settle on what we were both happy with.
If it was anyone else would probably have asked for €600 - €650

Is the grass heavy ?? If it got fertiliser probably around 150 an acre

The problem around us at the moment is there is no demand for it. Pits are still full from last year. Farmers are cutting less as a result
