    Hi,

If your car is approaching 10 years of age - you need to VOLUNTEER it for NCT test 90 days before its birthday in order to avail of a 2 year test.

If you do not volunteer it within that time frame, you will only get 1 year test.

    Best regards,
    Zena

90 days or less, or 90 days or more?

It's not news and already covered in the NCT faq

    * How does Voluntary Early Testing work and what does it mean for me as a car owner?
Vehicle owners who wish to present their vehicle for inspection earlier than 90 days before their NCT due date will now be allowed to do so.

Where this happens the vehicle will receive a 2 year (or 1 year depending on the age of the vehicle) certificate duration from the date it passes the test.

To qualify for Voluntary Early Testing the vehicle must PASS the NCT prior to the 90 days before its test due date

I thought he was wondering if it was more or less than 90 days, I must have misread it.
