Hi all, first time poster here,

I'm looking for metal piping and/or flues for a homemade kiln I'm making, does anyone know where I can get some at a reasonable price? I'm based in Wicklow but will be in Kildare for a while, so anywhere in that area.

Looking for around 3inch by 1 meter, iron or steel, anything that can withstand heat.

    Would the stove flues suit?

    Various options here, for example

Thanks but unfortunately they don't sell anything in the 2-3inch range, why is it so hard to bye steel pipe in Ireland xD

It's not hard at all to buy steel pipe. your just looking in the wrong places.
Any of the Steel companies will have it but you will get a piece cheaper if you try one of the Engineering Workshops who do Welding and Fabrication.

Tried to a few steel suppliers, they don't sell any at lengths appropriate for DIY type stuff. In any other country you could buy this stuff in any decent hardware store xD I guess I'll just have to ask random workshops etc. for the stuff.

Would you be able to cut it? Hevac on the Nass road would have 6meter lengths of 3inch gb. Cut it with a grinder?
