Does it have to be if you are going abroad or something or can it just be normal, its just I have to pay for the doctor and its all costs so much.

Mine are on a 6 month prescription... Only thing I didn't get on repeat is alprazolam. Just ask him or her for a 6 month prescription. If they say no and don't provide a decent reason why I'd personally be changing docs...

Depression can be a variable disease and your doctor may need to see you more often than every six months. It is best to discuss it with them.

I have a 6 month prescription for antidepressants. I didnt have to ask for it or anything its how they have always given it to me. If i need to change anything I just go back to the doc and they will change the prescription.

Yeah, I know where you're coming from... But tbh if someone's depression is that bad and they're so unstable on their meds that the gp feels the need to see them that often it's probably time for a specialist.

3 months usually for medical card holders.

That sounds right, as we don't have a medical card (we just missed out by 50 euros a month) I said to the doctor it is so expensive could I please have 6 months instead of 3 and she was fine about it.
