    Hi all,

Looking for some advice i currently have 2008 Seat Leon 1.9tdi with 211,000KM on the clock full service history always serviced on time.

I have in the past 4years of ownership done, shocks, dmf clutch, pads, timing belt tyres etc anything that needed to be done.

It now again needs timing belt, pads, possibly discs all round and 4 new tyres done along with some small body work on a quarter panel, and im sure the exhaust brackets needs welding again.

Would i even get much for it even with/without repairs? it hasn't let me down once but with all these regular servicing items coming this year it's breaking my heart slightly! keep or trade in?

Me, I'd repair and keep it but that's me.
Try to estimate the costs for everything needed and then decide I suppose.

Prioritise the work too. Tires + brakes, then timing belt and last the bodywork. I know the feeling when all these jobs hit at the same time, but it usually makes it a bad time to get rid of a car too.

If it's driving well I would at least get a price for the essential work (minus bodywork if possible) and weigh up the cost against having to buy a new one.

In the same boat myself. Just replaced brake pads/discs, 2 new tyres and repaired an alloy in the last couple of months. Rear suspension still needs doing and will cost about 750.

Didn't realise how much distance I'm covering yearly until the NCT.
