I have looked at the rules surrounding the claim and the person has enough stamps in the "relevant" year 2014 and meets all the other criteria to qualify for the full 9 months.

I then wrote asking for a copy of the stamps record and lo and behold 2015 is missing. (total 0)

This means that Social welfare deemed the person to not have the 520 full contributions.

I asked the person to go into the welfare office and explain. But they said that its revenues problem and it should be corrected by year end.

The issue is the persons 6 months is up before year end. She had pay slips with her for the weeks insured for 2015 but Social welfare did not want to know and turned her away.

How can this now be rectified?
