OK this is my own bloody fault, for starters, I bought an LCD screen which was marked as "not working faulty" in the description , my own fault, I have bought tons of computer parts and this is the first time I jumped the gun and didn't notice the full description.
Now the issue/hope I have is the screen is very different to the picture of the screen advertised, do I stand any chance getting a refund (partial refund) on the screen as being falsely advertised, I am trying to say the screen was marked as not working but arrived physically damaged and this is not as was advertised.

Contact seller to request a refund or part refund. You might have another problem, seller might agree to refund you but he/she might want the item back, in that case you will need to post back at your cost by register post to have proof you sent item back, so probably not worth it, if seller is a shop or high seller with 100% feedback they offer to help with return cost to avoid negative feedback.

Even if picture and/or description is incorrect you will probably have to pay cost of postage back, maybe check ebay help about that specific case, that seller has to pay the return postage, but unless they changed something over the last few months return will be at your cost.

if an item isn't as described then its the seller that has to pay return postage cost and if they refuse then Ebay will send you a pre paid shipping label

open a case for item not as described, the pictured item should be the one you receive
i have done this three times this year
    Paypal also cover return postage
    see this link :- https://www.paypal.com/fi/webapps/mpp/refunded-returns

If it was me I would go down the eBay route first and if for some random reason it's declined then PayPal is a good back up
Open a dispute in eBay straight away for item not as described and take pictures of the item that you received to back up your claim
I've onky ever had one claim fail on eBay out of about a dozen and the. I used PayPal
It's a long slow process but you will get your money back

Seller has agreed to me returning the screen , he had it marked as no returns in add, do I just send it back then open a paypal case to get the returns fees back ?

Use the eBay return procedure to cover yourself
How do you know the person will refund the payment

I dont and also there is no option to return it via ebay as it says it cannot be done via Ebay and directs me to PayPal where I have opened a case, should I wait for a response through this or go ahead and return to sender and hope he pays up. Then contact paypal if he does not ?

This is where eBay return procedure is explained

    http://pages.ebay.ie/ebay-money-back-guarantee/

eBay also has a chat with us option which is very good

If you have a PayPal case open you can't open and eBay return request
When you opened the PayPal return what dos it say was the next step ?
Should be awaiting a response from the other party
This may take some time depending on the seller

You can post it back to him if you don't want to wait but make sure you keep the tracking number to update on PayPal later

Regardless of who pays for the return Postage just ensure it's a "Tracked Parcel" to avoid the Seller claiming he didn't receive the item.

Didn't I say that already in the thread
    Pointless comment just repeating me

You told him to "keep" the tracking number.

I told him to make sure he actually sends the Parcel by Tracked Postage, and gave him a reason for doing so.

By your logic your last post is almost (just almost)as pointless as mine.
Stop using up the Internet with petty Posts. Your just ruining it for everybody else.

I linked the user to eBay return procedure and PayPal return procedure which helped the user, I also saved them paying return postage which the user was happy with, for items under €150 euro you only need proof of postage not proof of deliver

The user/op was happy with my help

Thanks for your help with the matter that was already resolved
