    Hi Everyone,

Driving up to Tayto Park this Friday for the first time.

I am coming from Wexford so I will have to travel on the m50. I think there is a toll on that road. Do I have to register my car for the journey, up and back or are there any facilities which allows me to pay at the cashier booth on the m50?

There are no booths to pay but you can pay up to 8pm tomorrow night in any payzone shop.

    Thanks for your reply.

I will be going coming back to Wexford the same day so I presume I would have to pay for the toll twice then?

You can pay for the M50 in most petrol stations, just give them your registration and how many time you crossed it and give them the cash. Enjoy the roller coaster it's effing brilliant :D

I always pay online next day, it's fairly straightforward.

There are no booths or barriers at the toll, it is all done with videos.

    How does the toll work?

The toll gantry uses a combination of lasers, beacons and cameras to detect a vehicle passing underneath. The cameras capture multiple images of the vehicle and the vehicle registration plate. Details of the registered owners are supplied from the Department of Transport.

How can I pay an M50 toll.

Online at eFlow.ie - select I Want to Pay a Toll on the home page and follow the on-screen steps.

In person with cash or card at any Payzone retail outlet nationwide. Have the vehicle’s licence plate number ready and tell the cashier how many journeys you’d like to pay for.
    Pretty much any londis/centra/gala/daybreak/petrol station.

Call us on LoCall 1890 50 10 50 from the Republic of Ireland, 0845 30 15 405 from the UK, or +353 1 4610122 from any other country.

You can pay friday morning just in case you forget as well. I have paid in a Centra in Sligo, before heading to the Airport, just incase no payment point there or if I didn't have time.

Register on the eFlow website beforehand with your reg and receive 50c off per toll.
