    Hi Guys,

Anybody know what's the best way to sow barley/pea mix? Would a wagtail shaker do? Mixing with fertilizer? Have about two acres to do.

    Thanks in advance!

I'd imagine you'd have to bury the seed some way after. Wagtail would do fine, wouldn't be very exact though!

Don't think you need to mix into fert. Both are big seeds. I presume the seeding rate is quite high.
    Wagtail, harrow lightly and roll.

It's a bit late now for for sowing arable silage. If you spread the seed with the vicon and harrow the field after with a triple k or spring harrow not set too deep to cver the seed.

Shake barley and peas on the ploughed ground then till it in with the land leveller. Put the grass on after, maybe give it a very light run of a harrow and roll it.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
