I am going to benalmadena next week for 1 week. We have our own villa I am just wondering if the hotels nearby would allow non residents to watch their entertainment etc as we have kids with us and would be buying drinks at the hotel. Thanks 😄

I was in Benalmadena last October, it's a very informal place and as long as you're spending money, you'll be welcome with your kids anywhere.

Email them asking about booking rooms for the time you're there. Add in a question about 'friends' joining you for the entertainments etc to see if you then get a reply :p

Otherwise, I'm fairly sure if you are buying drink in any hotel you'll be welcome - not for the use of a pool or leisure centre though. There's are Costa del Sol forums on Tripadvisor where regular visitors and British ex pats post - if you have a hotel in mind, you could ask there.
