LGBT Public Sector

Hi! I'm an LGBT teacher, and would love the opportunity to meet other members of the lgbt community who work in the public sector, be it in education, gardaí, healthcare, whatever. I don't think there is anything which would present that opportunity at the minute, and am wondering if other public sector workers would be interested in it if something was to be organised? Might just be me!

These things are best advertised through the Unions, I think at least the info will reach the majority of people.

The INTO LGBT group are pretty active. Sadly never joined as I wasn't in the Dublin area but there's a good social element from my understanding!

Thanks for your replies. Ash885, I'd love to go to a social event like that, but more looking for a garda to be honest .
