Anyone doing it/done it in the past?
Born and bred in Kilnamanagh, but was always too young for it when it was at its height.
Thinking about doing it this weekend, purely out of nostalgia!

Did it many times back in the day. Went from Kilnamanagh out past blessington and left for valleymount. From valleymount up to wicklow gap. Back then it stopped at summit before descent to glendalough and buses were used to being the riders down thus avoiding return climb from glendalough. Always descended to glendalough myself and met the bus on way back up. Have not been up around sally or wicklow gap in 15 years now. :(
