If you come to Ireland for a year and work, can you claim tax back when leaving?

I did this before in certain other countries. Can one expect a certain portion of their tax back when leaving Ireland?

It depends on how long exactly you will be here, and if that stay spans over a 2 year period.

You're considered resident if here for 183 days, or 280 over a 2 year period
