Forget the boy racer stuff and put that money towards insurance. What is the point of what you are trying to do?

Don't turn it into a plastic skanger wagon. That doesn't look nice.

Best thing to do is look for similar cars on Donedeal, with the kinda bodykit you're after. Figure out where they're based, and at night, call around when they're sleeping and do a bumper swap.

Or check ali-express or ebay or the likes.

Get a Cupra front splitter for about €50, maybe a nice set of sensibly sized alloys (loads of 4x100 fitment wheels on done deal) and leave it at that. Save your money for your next car.

OP, as its the 1.4 version, I would not be getting very big wheels as they increase the rolling resistance, decreasing performance (and the 1.4 needs all the help it needs). Also, some insurance companies consider a wheel swap as a modification so consider that before you get new wheels. O/E wheels are usually stronger than aftermarket wheels (and imo look better) so I'd be looking for a set of them.

Been there. I'm old enough that 3k euro was punts.

If you are looking at a Cupra R body kit find out of someone is breaking a Cupra R and swap over the bumpers etc.

The factory plastic will be far better quality and will age much better than fiberglass.
If 3k for insurance is a stretch another 2k for body work wont help.

If you really want to go ahead with modifying it, budget 2k but ring around for quotes.

If i had to go back and do this all over again i would have spent my money on shocks 30mm lowering springs with a reasonable spring rate(not coil-overs), good brake pads and a good sports tyre.
