Have 16k ish to spend. Have been looking at the a4 or cc 2011ish. Any other suggestions? No heavy mileage 10-12000 km or so a year..but want a decent enough car, something nice to drive.. No kids either.

With doing such low mileage and not having kids then why not look at something like a Golf GTi or similar rather than a diesel car. There will be plenty of time for that later in life.

Jezza once said that typically when you can afford nice cars, you don't want them anymore...

So if you can afford now, get something nice... Depends if you have insurance history, but I would even consider going into Porsche territory.

I'd say the Porsche might be out of reach tbh. Had a golf before so not pushed on another. They are pretty small.

I'm eager to suggestions to this too. I'm in pretty much the same boat as you only that I would definitely need a diesel. Would love a CC but there isn't many at that price that have dont have high mileage. Id like to get something in and around 80k miles. I've no idea what to go with yet either.

Slightly over budget as advertised but should be some negotiation to be done. Don't be put off by the dealer/location - that car is pretty much mint, very well looked after by the last driver and full service history.

Mileage "rounded" to 77,000 miles - actually just over 126,000km when I saw it a couple of weeks ago.

And the dealership is in the Bermuda triangle area...

Do you work for AS Cars? The word Mint is always used in their adverts :D

I work in leasing and that CC was one of fleet cars that we sold recently.

Couple of our cars have turned up in AS Cars recently, but we sold them to one of the largest traders in the country, who obviously turned them over pretty quickly.

I was keeping an eye out for that CC turning up somewhere as it's fairly rare to get them back from customers in such good condition. Nice when drivers take pride in their cars, even though they don't own them.
