    Hi all,

Brocon 2016 is right around the corner, July 8-10 to be precise, and I hope you guys are excited. It is going to be a big year for gaming this year at the University of Limerick's PESS building, as gaming giants Chris Pramas and John Romero join us among other special guests. Chris will be doing a number of panels on the company, kickstarting, and more, as well as running two sessions of Fantasy Age, the RPG system he designed. John on the other hand will be taking a look back at his 35yrs in the industry with the DOOM Postmortem, and looking forward with a look at some of his new work.

But if that somehow doesn't get you, we still have a little something for everybody. On top of our new and expanded board game area, our family friendly con has games of all varieties to choose from.

If you are into tabletop minatures we will have both Warhammer 40k and X-Wing on over the weekend. Also we will have demos of various games all weekend long.

RPGs are also in full swing and bigger than even this year. We will have games both simple and a little more complex with the likes of Dread and D&D going neck in neck, while as mentioned above, Chris Pramas will be running two sessions of Fantasy Age, set in Freeport.

Card gaming is expanding as well this year. While Magic continues on as ever, Yu-Gi-Oh looks to have an expended presence with three events over the weekend, while Netrunner and Game of Thrones growing communities could arguably take the show.

And of course no convention can claim to be a gaming convention without a healthy supply of board games on tap. We will have a very wide and extensive range of games available to use at all times, with some others also bringing their own games as well.

There is literally something for everyone, so check out the site, and come along to BroCon this weekend.
