Comes in the standard tubes and is the solid ish grease. I think it comes in liquid is well but that is crazy price. But use much less of it as it lasts longer

We use tubes of normal grease on ours. Use anti fling oil on the chains if you want to keep it clean. What type of class baler had you before ??

I was looking at a class 455 baler before I bought the 245. A class sales person said the best thing ye could do is walk away. Had you any bother with the key ways holding in the sprockets

I could give u a list the baler I traded was 2010 last year an year before she broke my heart sprockets, net going in at 3/4 bale made , computer intermittent and had to make new axle stubs as the wheels fall off as they are only pressed in. hard to explain . . Always under pressure making the bales.. Wat did u hear about the sprockets?

Father had a class 66 back in the 70s. he said he had problems with the keyways holding in the sprockets and that's still giving bother on all the new balers. Was your baler driven in the 1000 box

I've an xtra cut 17. No auto greaser on my one. Just a fee minutes every couple of hundred bales does the job

Only have it a few weeks and is only being run in now. The lad we bought it off said have the baler running while you grease it so all the bearing is done. What do you make of the Lely ?

Its a 235 profi I have much the same you just have a different better pickup and intake.
Yes it would be better but it's dangerous I never had an issue I just give them all a pump every morning regardless of the amount it's made.
Have a 550 mchale too and I'd prefer the lely

I've only a hundred bales done so just getting used to it figuring out if the bale is out the door or not is the biggest issue as u can't see through the rollers. P.s. how do you cancel the bale count ?

You should here a thump when the bale hits the ground.
If its an E link controller you press the pr button go down to statistics and press the plus and minus buttons for 5 seconds and it resets the counter
