Broken front filled tooth - options?

Hiya, just wondering what my options are here.

I had a front tooth filled after it broke during an accident about 8 years ago. Tonight, the part where it was filled broke off while I was having dinner. It's not painful, thankfully.

However, there is a small bit of either rot or brown staining where the tooth broke. Unfortunately, I haven't been to a dentist since the filling, because of an extremely bad experience while I was there.

So what are the options? Could it possibly be 're-filled? It's thankfully not a huge chunk that fell out, and not very noticeable.

I'm worrying that I'm going to lose a front tooth :(

Also, are <snip> any good? They're the only one near me (i'm in Dublin 5) that are open tomorrow.

IANAD, but I would think you could safely wait until after the weekend to get it fixed. It will give you time to get recommendations.

    Sorry penny no names allowed.

Can you go back to the original dentist?

That dental chain could probably just clean it up, if you want something more permanent there are a few options

Sorry, my mistake asking about a clinic :o

I won't go back to the original dentist, he's gone now. If they can clean it up and paste or fill it, that'd be decent. I know white fillings only last up to 10 years (or so I was told), but financially an implant isn't gonna happen yet :pac:

I hope filling it back up is an option. I was worried it wouldn't be, because it'd been filled when I had my accident.
