Are provisional results, your final results?

    I got my Provisional results on June 9th 2016 and on the top it says 'PROVISIONAL Statement of Results'. Will my results change or is that the final result?

    Unless you appeal something, they are your results.

    People say that results do get changed when the official results come, is that true? I got my results on the 9th of June and do you think that external examiners had a look over my work or will it be done before issuing the official results?
