Hi - i bought house with a well a few months ago - we realised when we no longer had any water that the pump was broken
Joys - I ve had the pump replaced and now have water!
However I cannot get the cold water to work on the bath nor the toilets - it works on all the other taps
The tank in the loft is full I ve checked any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

    Possibly an airlock.

Do you have a power washer or anything you can force water up the pipes with?

Be careful, it's a messy but effective solution.

You could try running bath cold water tap with your thumb over the spout preventing the water coming out. Sometimes the increase in pressure inside the pipe can force the air lock to move. That worked for me a couple of times.

If you connect a garden hose from your kitchen tap to your bath tap and open both for a few seconds this should release the airlock.

Have you checked for any valves in your hot press or attic that may have been turned off prior to installation of your pump. If it is an airlock which it most likely is has your bath a mixer tap, by mixer I mean a tap with both a cold and hot feed which uses the one spout. If so open the cold side and place your hand over the spout tightly then open the hot side slowly so you don't spray water everywhere. Hold for a minute or two then release. Turn off the hot tap and you should have cold water coming through. It may spit out but this is just the air being forced through. If your taps have individual spouts find away of joining the two taps together so you can force the water from one up the other. Personally instead of a hose I find 3/4 inch pipe insulation the handiest as you can shove it over the spout which you can't do with a hose. There is also a gadget that you can find in hardware stores that you can attach to hoses and clamp onto taps if you want to make things easier.
