    Hi,

My partner is a member of Tradesmen.ie and he's received lot's of work through their website so he has well recouped his initial fee so no problems there.

He takes great pride in his work and has a great scoring from customers however lately has been a nightmare with customers demanding more work for less money, giving mediocre scores i.e 7/10 yet on the same review are singing his praises and highly recommending him!!

Only recently he bought a lead but never got around to ringing or quoting for the job so this would have been no skin of the customers nose or so you'd think but no the customer messaged him to say he would report my partner to Tradesmen for not quoting him. My other half called the customer and told them he couldn't quote them over the phone and would need to call out to see the work. He quoted the individual and needless to say he never got the job.

Sorry about the rant but there just doesn't seem to be any protection for the trades people against these customers who are blatantly misusing the system. I could go on . . .

Does anyone else have similar issues?
