Sky Go and Apple TV

I recently purchased Apple TV thinking that it would be very handy to stream Sky Go to my television from my iPad. Unfortunately I keep getting error messages, "the content cannot be loaded, try again later" and the stream fails. It's only the stream through Apple TV that fails, it continues to work fine on m iPad and other devices.

Has anyone encountered these problems? From a quick Google search it would appear to be quite common with not necessarily any quick fix. All the usual options have been suggested, reboot router, reinstall app, reboot Apple TV. I have done all of those but no success.

Just wondering if anyone on here had managed to resolve this problem and if so how? Thanks.

Apologies if this topic has already been covered in another thread.

Really? Wonder why that is. Very frustrating. Thanks for the reply anyway Chris.

They probably want to stop people watching Sky TV on a television in secondary locations without a Sky sub.

You can do it with a PC/Mac using the browser version of Sky Go. Not with iOS/Android.

Xbox 360 has a great Sky Go app. You can pick up a 2nd hand 360 and connect it to the TV.
I use this method a lot.
