Read an article earlier on about how a man living in Kildare is insured by Zurich Germany on his 2.0l Subaru Forester. Does anyone know anything about this i.e legality and how to go about doing it? I am a 19 year old student on a learners permit and am finding it very hard to get affordable quotes from the likes of Aviva, AXA and Liberty.

Apparently it seems a paper or media site in Kildare has turned in the Waterford whisper satirical news,

All you can do is save or get a loan and pay the near €3000 for your first insurance and hope it comes down every year

Thanks for your reply. Are you sure Kildare Now is satirical? All their articles look pretty legit.

In the Sunday Business Post at the weekend, you can find it online if you search "up-to-80000-motorists-to-be-hit-by-eflow-contracts-dispute"
