Any easy way to disable this? Coming on intermittently depending who is driving.

Aware they leaving a bag on the passenger seat or something?

There are things available on eBay or wish that clip into the seat belt like the belt does. Simple fix and easily removed

No, was on a long spin today and came on randomly for about 5 minutes..then just stopped again. Was hoping there was a sensor I could unplug or something

Probably an occupancy sensor gone wrong? Try buckling the passenger seatbelt and see what happens.

The problem with these is usually in the seatbelt receiver itself. The drivers seat is more common as it gets more use.

They can be easily disconnected. Slide back the seat all the way and on the floor in front of the seat you will see a black plastic cover. Lift up the cover and you will see a black plug and a yellow plug. Disconnect the black plug, don't touch the yellow one as it is for the side airbag.

It can also be turned off using diagnostic software such as VCDS.

Thanks. See it. This won't set off any other alarm or anything will it?

No, as long as you don't touch the yellow plug!
