Martial Arts in Carlow Town

    Hi,

Was just wondering what the martial arts scene is like in Carlow?
As far as I know there is a BJJ class once a week in a gym.
Is there anything else in the town such as Muay Thai, Judo, MMA etc.?
I am also trying to avoid Karate/TKD or any of that traditional rubbish.

There's meant to be a couple of kickboxing clubs? Has anyone trained with any of them?

They are loads of clubs about.

Closest muay Thai is Bagnelstown and they are fantastic.

Jujitsu is in CBS, I think.

There used to a club out in the dome, not sure if still there.

    Karate in Askea boys.

At least three kick boxing clubs. The one near river has a good name. I think that premises is shared between different martial clubs.

    They are loads about.
