Just looking for some advice guys.

    Here's the crux of the story, 2 years ago i bought a 2004 Volvo S40 T5 which has a 2.5lt engine.

At the time i was working so i had no issues until last year when i wrecked my back and had to quit my job, i was hoping it was only a temporary set back but its turned into a whole having to change my career type situation.

So here i am now this year with the Tax and issuance due and not having the money to do it obviously.

So i would like some advice on the best way to get rid of this car and replace it with a smaller more affordable car, i know im going to take a hit on it which doesn't bother me but i need to be on the road.

    Whats my options?

Sell it on done deal. You're not going to get much for it trading it in anywhere.

Take the best photos you can and put a realistic price on it and hope for the best. Use the proceeds to pick up a cheaper car to run.

Probably being open to swaps may be a good idea in your case
