I have a 01 New Holland TS 115 SL The Pto is continually running and heating up oil and tractor is under constant pressure.
How do I check the pressure of the hydraulic pumps and what should the pressure be. Can anyone help?

Also when I let of the clutch there is a bang and just takes off, does anyone know what could be causing this?

    TIA

Any reason why the PTO is continually running? Only just replaced a pressure plate / flywheel in a hydraulic pump on a TS90 the other day, everything stopped working!! Might be that your pump is slowly on the way out, they take a lot of abuse as they power the steering, PTO + drive. If it is hydraulic pump related, might be worth having the pressure plate / flywheel checked as these are about half the price of a new pump! Sorry cant advise on how to check the pressure tho.

TS90 used to give a bang when clutch was let off also, turned out to be the front brakes releasing. Got a switch put on the dash so that the front brakes could be turned on / off as needed. Only turn them on when pulling a heavy load etc.
