Hi there,

I hope I'm not repeating questions posted elsewhere but haven't had much luck searching.

I have been on Jobseeker's Benefits but those payments are coming to an end. I have been approved for Jobseeker's Allowance thankfully.

I have been told my last benefit payment will be in the post office tomorrow and my first allowance payment will be in the post office on thursday.

My question is, do I collect allowance from a thursday going forward? I also find it odd that I can collect two payments one day after another during the switchover from JSB to JSA, I expected them to be a week apart.

Any input would be much appreciated.
