Credit Card Query

    Not really a question for Bank of Ireland but perhaps someone knowledgeable could advise me as it's impossible to get through to the credit card crowd.  So my query is : Say that my credit card bill for the month is €2,000 and I'm advised that I have to pay a minimum of €50 before end of month.  I pay the €50 before the set date. Is interest charged on the outstanding €1,950 ?

    Thanks for contacting us on Boards today.
     
    Just checked on this for you and have been advised that interest is charged on the entire amount that is outstanding on the bill (E2000).
     
    Interest is charged on each and every transaction until the account is paid in full.
