Java error

I'm getting a java error - EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0x00000005) and it is telling that the problematic frame is:

    V [JVM.dll+0x11b2ac]

From reading through Google, it would indicate a setup problem. However I thought it might be more related to my code.

I'm still learning java, so I'm unsure how to proceed here. In going to stay backing out the most recent code to see if it comes up again.

Did the V indicate a virtual machine issue?

    Thanks.

Don't just post about a problem and the only follow up is "sorted". Tell us what was wrong and how you fixed it.

Oh, I absolutely believe you, it is, unfortunately, an all too common solution to such problems...

Unfortunately, that is the true answer.

    An answer none the less
