Higher Level Language for Arts UCD?

Would like to do english and history in arts. Im **** a french so was thinking of dropping on the day. Do i need to pass higher level or is a pass in ordinary level ok for getting into arts?

According to the website, OD3 in other language is requirement.

Or well.. they just say 'another language' on that link.

It is explicitly spelled out in 2014 entry requirements that OD3 is okay.
