Hi all,

I am a single Mom Of 3 children. I am Irish. I worked in a factory for a while but I want to go back to college either to get a new job or go back to the factory to apply for a better position. I took a year leave of absence since July 2015 to study but I only got an admission in the Uk this year for an accelerated 2 year degree course starting September 2015. Please can anyone advise me on possibility of getting a grant from susi. Do I need to resign to qualify. I have not worked since July 2015 . I plan requesting an additional year from work but a friend said it is better I resign from the job as the possibility of going back is very slim. I am not in receipt of any welfare benefits. Thank you for all your advise.
