Transferring from 1st year to 1st yr of another similar course with BTEA

If I am studying a level 8 science course and wish to transfer to a larger Uni but am not able to transfer straight into 2nd year of the new college how does this affect BTEA? Also does SUSI make you pay for the 1st yr in the new course because it's seen from their perspective of repeating a year?

Best ring susi and find out, i would say you would have to pay fees, not sure on the btea, ring sw office and find out.
