Looking to buy a new desktop to be used mostly for gaming but don't really have an idea on basic computer knowledge. Can anyone tell me if these specs are worth the money. This is going for a 1000 euro. Any help appreciated.

    2GB AMD RADEON™ R7 370
    120GB KINGSTON UV400 SSD

That machine is worth about €400

I'd say it's worth a fair bit more than €400 to be realistic as a new system with what's probably a genuine copy of Windows 10 - but yes, €1000 is far too high a price for that system. Where are you buying?

Even if you don't want to build yourself you can get far better value for money on pre-built systems than that.

Any recommendations for pre built systems that I could find online?

Dabs used to be good for buying pre-built systems, but they're gone now. I'm sure one of the lads here can recommend somewhere - many places will allow you to pick the parts, and charge a small fee for building it all - that way you get the best value for money.

Just placed a bid on a PC that you are currently selling on adverts.ie

Eh, not a great modern spec, especially for €1000.

If you can wait 2 weeks, AMD RX480 will be out for around €220-240. Windows 10 is around €100, or you can install it & "forget" to activate (it will just give you an easily ignorable watermark in bottom right corner).
Don't pay for a cheap key, they are essentially pirateware.

    Google is your friend :)

They're quite easy to put together these days, as easy as Ikea furniture.

Alternatively, try a boutique house like http://www.custompc.ie/ or https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/
