    Do fathers have to pay maintence when they have two weeks holiday access, edited to add the maintence is court ordered

    Actually if he's having them for a fortnight he might look for maintenance from the mother of the children for that fortnight.

    Hi I got the info I needed from a friend who is a solicitor after posting here, you are incorrect he will still need to pay maintainence

    Once it is ordered by the court it must be paid, it would be up to the father or mother to seek a change to the order to take account of holiday access.
