Hi guys first post. We will soon need a bigger car(hopefully) as were expecting twins. Have two already so we need a seven seater.the buggy is on the bigger scale so need a larger boot as well.this takes out a lot of options for us.the Ford galaxy/smax seem best mvp choice . Would prefer an suv but the boot is tiny in most of them(quasqui,Sorrento,Hyundai etc). Buggy won't fit.was wondering if taking out one of the middle seats to make room for buggy is a viable option. Maybe this idea is a non runner/stupid!! Think would need three seats in middle row for this to possibly work.planning on putting the two maxi cosi seats in the middle row, older kids are coming 5 and 3 so they will be in back. Any comment/advice greatly appreciated

From memory of previous threads, the biggest issue with SUV's has been problems getting kids seats to fit in, so on that basis MPV's seemed to be the better option.

Its MPV not MVP. You could also check out the Mazda 5 and the Peugeot 5008. The Opel Zafira Tourer is another you could check out. I think in your situation an MPV is definitely the better buy.

4 kids, I'm afraid it's an MPV you need. I have an smax, with 3 kids (twins + 1), it's fine as we don't use the 3rd row of seats so it has a huge boot but if you need to use the third row of seats and carry a double buggy you probably need a galaxy.

For a family of 4 young kids , mpv is the most practical. Citroen grand Picasso worth considering also, very popular for families. Very flexible seating and reasonably priced, very economical to run.
